Ok fans now that the holidays are fast approaching Stewart's Brew Pub has created there famous Monk beer again. As I sit and order my Monk I notice a lot of them being served and the anticipation is driving this guy CRAZY. But I wait (not patiently) for my own Monk to get to my table, and as I see the waitress bringing it to me I know that it's gonna be great, never had a bad Monk. She sets it down and I can see the wonderful golden color and a nice small head of beautiful white foam, not too big and not too small. I do the smell then drink, that drives the wife crazy, "why do you have to smell it before you drink it" she asks and I just smile cause that is one of my favorite parts. I am now fully engaged in the Monk now and at it hit every taste bud I have an overwhelmingly, almost euphoric feeling comes over me it's “MONK TIME” I love Stewart’s Stumblin' Monk the taste, the color, the smell and the feeling it gives you when completed. I give this beer a special 10 out of 10 Taster Glasses

DFH Hellhound
Ok folks here is the next review it come from DFH (that's a surprise huh) new brew Hellhound, it marks the 100th birthday of Robert Johnson the legendary blues man. I can honestly say I didn't get the blues drinking this fine beer, but I was on top of the world drinking it. I poured it into one of my sifter glasses, I recommend you drink the right beer with the right glass, as I poured it I noticed the nice amber color it gave a small but nice head. I took one big whiff and the smell was very hoppy with a small lemon smell, just by smelling it I knew I was gonna like this beer. I took one sip and the smell and the taste took me away to blues concert in my taste buds, smooth, cool and so mellow. I think this is a great beer and at 10avb it will make you feel great too. I enjoyed this beer with cheese and crackers and some pizza but I sure it can be enjoyed with most meals. I will be buying more and I will even try to shelf some of it and try it in a year or two just to see the taste difference. I hope you all can get some and enjoy like I did. Till the next time we meet keep your glassed cleaned and your beers crafty.

DFH 60 minute IPA
Ok here we go my first review....
DFH 60 IPA is a great every day drinking beer, it's 6% so it's not too strong that you can't drink too many of them. The color is the first thing you notice, it a nice amber color (forgive me on color I may be a little color blind, I haven't matched the correct clothes in years). The smell is awesome you can smell the hops jumping right out of the glass and up your nose for an absolute awesome smell. I have drunken my share of these and before every sip I always take a big whiff before I drink. The taste is so smooth and hoppy that you need another as soon as you have finished the one you had before. This is my Favorite everyday beer I would suggest drinking this with any meal or anytime of the day or night.
Joey scale.... 9 pints out of 10

Good Friday.... Great Friday
Went to my Brother/Sister-in-laws house for dinner on Good Friday and we had fish and chips. Ok the food was great, but the beer was even better. It was a DFH beer night; I started the night off with a 60 min IPA which was wonderful. During diner I had a Raison D Etre again a great beer and for desert I had an Aprihop. Now remember I just didn't have one of each, I had a few beers that night but they were all great. I think I will start reviewing beer very soon on this blog so stayed tuned for that.... Of course it will start with my favorite beer the DFH 60 min IPA.
